Carrie Rowan / Rob Mattson

After a successful ten-year climb up the corporate ladder, I assessed the view from above, took a deep breath and decided to jump. Landing softly on my piano bench, I was comforted by the sentiments that floated inside me longing to be a rhythmic wave of melody. I traded in the navy power suit and fancy wheels in search of the missing rung that has revealed itself in words and music. After experiencing unconditional love and unfathomable loss in my life, I have found my voice with an even stronger yearning.

Kirsten and Dave

Kirsten & Dave’s diverse backgrounds are the key to their success at performing a variety of musical styles. Whether they are playing acoustic pop, country, acoustic blues or folk/bluegrass, their love for music is obvious. Playing a variety of instruments, Kirsten & Dave swap off melodies and harmonies as they play a mix of covers and original tunes. They have many decades of performing experience between them and they have been playing together for five years. Kirsten & Dave have opened for Chris and Meredith Thompson, Paul Rishell & Annie Raines, and most recently, Guy Davis. Kirsten & Dave’s first studio CD, Dreams That Just Won’t Let Go, was released in October 2006. Made up of mostly original tunes, it captures the spirit of their live performances in fully produced versions of their favorite songs. The cut 'People Talk' has held steady this year in the top 100 anti-war songs on Neil Young’s web site.

Laura Bullock

Laura Bullock is a Boston-area songwriter, through and through. Literate and modern, reflective and relevant, she writes and performs in a style that has become characteristic of the Cambridge folk music scene. On stage, Laura weaves each song together with humor and stories, connecting with the audience like two friends over tea.

In the Fall of 2006 Laura released her first full-length album entitled Points North. She has also appeared on the 2006 release of Club Passim's Open Mike Compilation CD. She continues to gain recognition for her sweet, simple voice and insightful, thought-provoking lyrics.

Rob is first and foremost a performer. Spending 25 years on stage in theater, and 17 years as a playwright has prepared him for life as an acoustic performer. His songs are literate, funny, touching and occasionally thought provoking. Rob owns the stage the minute he steps on it, and connects with audiences of any age, background or attitude.

Steve Centorino

A singer by trade, Steve Centorino spent a few good years on the Boston Music scene making a go of it in a orginal local metal band. The new acoustic sound is great as it allows for a very intimate expierence.
